4 tanks run and it won't start...

Let me start by saying I have a redcat tornado s30. I have spent 2 days and countless hours researching and trying on my own before posting. Ignitor charged. Glow plug tested.Batteries good. Tank full. Primed. Air filter clean. It seems to be flooded it pulls hard most of the time. But it has never pulled with ease. I found my idle screw was just turning and out of its groove. I fixed that and adjusted manually and with th trim. It started first pull then died before I could do anything.Wont start now no matter what I try. I am new and have maybe a week experience. I have looked at the flowchart and read below that too. Not having fun anymore. Please help if possible...Johnny

Where are your needle settings currently at?

i would reset the needles to factory settings and start from there...but thats just me....some people would say it is uneccasary but it always helped me to start from what i know should be a rich setting and lean from there...

My hsn was flush and I turned it 2 times. Lsn-1 turn from flush. The idle screw is set with 1 mm gap. Thank you both for responding!

faulty motor? take to local hobby shop and get them to look over it. sometimes new motor are a bitch to start.

tried heating up the block with hair dryer? then starting it

Get the thing back to factory settings. Call Redcat if you don't know exactly what those are. Take plug out and yank on the starter a few times to clear out excess fuel if you think it's flooded. Put a new plug in for the purpose of starting, and get the thing started. Stop whining too. Nitro engines can sense when they have you defeated

when my crankcase gets full of fuel mine will never start.what i do is put the engine at bdc then lay it carefully upside down (no fuel in tank)it drains out on a white rag(alot!)then it starts right up,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I dont own a redcat but your settings sound very lean to me. Your idle sounds fine but typically your LSN is flush with the carb body and the HSN for most vehicles is usually at least 3 turns out. Have you located the factory settings yet?

You gotta give us some time here!! Sorry I dont constantly troll the site but some of us do have other issues to deal with. Not tryin to be rude but if you want help from people you gotta give the good ones time to respond.

Apparently I may have offended him when I said I dont constantly troll the site lookin to help someone the second they post. If your still here Johnnycrash, this sounds very similar to my Earthquake 3.5. On my 3rd tank i was having problem starting and keeping my truck running. My neighbor suggested taking the air filter off and shooting some WD40 in the carb. With the glow plug out pull the cord a couple time and see if some WD shoots out the motor. If it does, that shows there is fuel getting to the motor. Another thing he had me do is as I was ripping the cord, hitting the throttle at the same time. I did these two thing and i ran a good solid 2 hours that night. Sorry this is info did find you until five days later. After having those solid runs my head blew up so big i couldn't make it to the computer! JK bud..smile!
