Its growing on me now lol. Its not bad but i dont think that pink yellow and orange match lol. I wish they sold more anodized parts in orange like axle carriers and c hubs. Inwas going to do orange dyed rpm a arms but i guess they dont make dyeable rpm parts for this truck

Can anyone suggest anything as far as winter running or winter break in?
 
But the thing is, is how just because pink is a color girls like its almost like its a color thats only ment for woman.. its a cleshay thats kind of ridiculous .. if some one likes it then thats fine with me.. I'm straight and i think pink actually can look pretty good when done right...

Even my riding gear is pink.

i personally think the color on the savage is a great color combo.. although i will agree with the chassis the orange doesn't really match up that well but the orange anodizing is a nice touch over all.
 
Ya but I'm pretty anal lol my stuff is always cleaned after every outing and i go through it ever run. Noone likes working on a filthy truck right lol.
 
haha same here... after every use i first take it out back, turn my compressor on.. put the presser on the nozzle for 100 psi... blow it all off and it looks bran new already but then i take it in my room and take the tank off and wheels and bust out the Q tips, rags, carb cleaner and 3n1 oil.
 
haha I'm the same way, but i use the old toothbrush method haha.. I'm anal.. bad
 
Well u were right lol i got tired of looking at it so i went out got me a qt of fuel and started the break in process lol. Still on my first tank at about 3/4 empty and temps are at about 191
 
I like em a lil dirty, I used to clean em after every run, but no more. Just a lil wipe down is all I do, unless I putting the Truck away for a while.
 
I got 5 tanks done and this thing is already feeling like its got some gonads. Poppin wheelies without even trying.. I can't put it down yet haha. I wrapped the head with a sock for the first 4 tanks and removed it on the 5 th i think its tuned good now. Have yet to touch the low speed but i think its good for now. The low end is a lil studderish but if i burp it a lil it clears out.

ahhhhhhh i was oblivious... i was like * wow those pictures are horrible * lol but looks like shes running great ! hpi does great stuff

ha really ? I used to be all about traxxas probably as you can tell.. But i remember when i had my t maxx my neighbor had a savage with a huge OS motor running on 30% and we sort of were just checking out our trucks and everything i saw on his truck compared to mine was like 10x better.. the suspension.. the design.. the way everything was layed out. and he showed me the stock engine witch at the time was huge because it was the t maxx only was available with a 2.5 and i think at the time his was a .21 for stock ? i dont remember exactly but it was huge compared to traxxas. and it just handled awesome. So i knew that if i ever get an MT it would be a savage and the 2011 savage is just an awesome truck.. I personally believe the savage is the best 1/8 MT on the market hands down.
 
Yeah i remember the first time i seen a savage was my neighbor. And at the time i lived in a apartment complex with a buddy and i could hear something loud so i went to. Check it out and it was a big bad ass savage lol. I got one probably a yr later and it was good to be put i sold it to get a laptop for my gf. But I've had 100s of rc since then and i have had every rc traxxas has to offer so i kinda got bored of the same trucks. I got this savage cause i i really like what they have come to be. My only problems with savages have only been diff issues and when i had them i didnt know about shimming so if inwould have I'm sure i would have kept it.
 
If your talking about the igniter that comes with the truck, there is no charger, simply replace the old C-cell battery with a new one.
