i just baught a rolling chasis for a t-maxx I'm pretty sure its the older version this is allright as i plan to use the parts to build a big block t-maxx. the chassis didnt come with much I'm going to use so i am just wondering if the 2.5 a-arms will work with the older verson bulk heads? thanks--Joe
 
Yes they will work...All the T-Maxx gear weather it's the first gen or 2 Gen are compatible with one another
 
I just did a widemaxx upgrade a few months ago. If you get traxxas' 2.5 suspension upgrade kit, everything you need comes in the one package.
 
You going to sale any extra parts you don't need?


I'm needing some hardware to bolt the motor of a Tmaxx to it's motor mounts. I know it's some small stuff but it makes it very hard to drive ;) The pasanger side bolt most of viberated out some how.

hey svoray...yes i have those but you know you can go to your local hardware store and prlly find them for extremely cheap...but i do have those and some other stuff
 
Well for right now I really need some screws to bolt the motor to the motor mount. I guess one viberated loose or something. My LHS is 20 miles one way from me and I'm in no real hurry, nor is my friend. I know it's not worth the hasle but I need it to hopefully get my friends truck finnished up. Also, I'm thinking of buying a used Tmaxx to fix up and may be interrested in some used stock parts for it. It can be some bulk lot of misc parts.

i do have some engine screws..just give me your address ill send them in an envelope for you for free..also the only thing ill really be getting rid of is the stock gas tank(with primer) the 1.5verson a-arms...differential just the rear but comes with stock drive shafts..and the chassis braces..i would sell all this together for like $30 or individuals......shoot me a PM
 
I believe the only real suspension difference between the 15 maxx and 2.5 maxx is that the arms are wider and the axles are longer. Otherwise, they mount up and fit the same.

The shock towers are different, as well; They have three holes instead of the stock (1.5) single hole.
