Ya baby! Got my old beat up pede out of the barn about a month ago. Sure enough, the bug bit me. Been sittin' a few years, gotta get new batteries. Started with a couple 2000 6ers, but that wasn't fun for long. Long story short, she's now sittin' on 2.8 talons, old Rc10gt body and shocks(double sprung), 5 yr old super rooster, duratrax mt knuckles, titian 12t(cheap), 8cell 4600. The only bad thing is since the tires, motor, and battery arrived, theres been snow non stop. Can't open it up. Bummer. Before I get crap about not going brushless, I soon will. In the mean time, I have my childhood dream truck! And everything's waterproof!

I'm only 27, so I should be able to grow a beard soon! I love it to man. It's a harmless hobby that involves quite a bit of concentration and tons of fun.

What's a decent 540 brushed motor that's comparable to the titian? I ran a 10t speed gem in it for a while, but the bat packs were over heating bad. The titian can't be the fastest brushed motor for it.

i have that same Q. id like to go brushless but i still get sticker shock.

I hear brushless is a lot better even with nicd/mh bats. The traxxas system is $170 retail, so could probably find it for a little less with some huntin' around.
