spur gear

when you replace the spur gear how do you adjust the slipper clutch?

I just got a new spur gear for a xtm x-celerator and all ready messed it up, I was wondering if there is a Aluminum one that i could get and if so what kind :\

The newer tmaxx (model 4908) comes with a 58 tooth spur I THINK and they advertize the top speed as being higher than the older version (4909) that comes with a 54 tooth spur I THINK. What gives? its the same engine? The smaller spur SHOULD be higher top speed? Am I wrong about...

i am constantly stripping spur gears on my RC10GT anyone know why s dpur gear would keep stripping???

I installed a new spur gear on the MGT, and it seems to thin?? Anybody else ever had this happen? I have everything installed like it is supposed to be. It isn't my first dance with a new spur gear. Any ideas? Thanks, Adrian

What size is the stock t-maxx 2.5 spur gear, looking to go up a couple of teeth and just wondering what the best one would be. I have a 2.5 with a 3.3 engine, with 18t cb. I want more acceleration and torque, any advice would bill helpfull and very much appreciated, thanks.

what size spur gear and clutch bell is good for quick acceleration, i would still like a high top speed also but willing to loose a little top speed. I have a 72t spur gear with a 20t clutch bell any suggestions are appreciated.

how tight should the spur gear mesh with the gear on the motor? should it be easy to turn with your finger or hard?

Ok, so today i get my savage 25 going put a BRAND NEW SPUR GEAR in it, lock tight'd the mount bolts, did the fold the sheet of paper spur gear mesh trick, then also checked with my fingers to make sure it had slight play. Drove it around had a blast, thanks to finally getting it tuned decent...

Noobie so bare with me... How tight/loose should the slipper clutch and spur gear fit be? After removing the engine for the first time I didn't take note of how tight/loose the fit between the slipper clutch and the spur gear. I have a revo 3.3. Any help?

Okay, bought this firestorm with a 'striped spur gear' Now the car rolls fine, and the gear looks fine, picture below, is the spur gear whats really striped?

hi i just bought a firestorm and it needs a new spur gear, I waswondering what other spur gear will fit, the firestorms stock one is 50tooth, anyone know any other spur that will fit? or have one that they can ship me, ill pay alot.
