Doing a re-build on my shocks (mugens) and the oil inside was very dark. Charcoal/graphite gray dark. I pay close attention after each run to the outside to make sure nothing is leaking and they are always fine. The track conditions have been very dusty lately. Is this normal, is dust just...

I run off-road mainly...
Just picked a set of integy piggyback shocks and I was wondering how much shock oil to put in the shocks. Do I fill up both the shock body and the piggyback? Or just the shock body? Any help appreciated.

Whaddup guys,
I'm curious what shocks and what weight oil everyone is running in their Maxx???
I'm currently running the Traxxas Big Bore shocks with the red springs. They're definitley an improvment over the stock plastic shocks but don't offer a big performance gain IME and IMHO for the...
I am running some new Integy shocks and they are stiff. I left the two-hole damper in them and used 40 wt oil. Wondering if I should use the 3 hole dampers or just lighter oil. Anyone have similar issue? using the same setup in the stock shocks and they work great.
Thanks

Hey is there suposed to be small holes where shock oil can leak out of the stock shock bodies? I'm in the process of refilling my shocks now and after I seal them and push the shaft to watch for re-coil, I notice that oil is leaking out from a small hole. I believe the hole is from where the...

First, know that I've looked in my instructions and all over on-line. I don't just come running here when I have any question.
How do I change the oil in my shocks? I found an article that explained how to take them apart (suspension tuning article on r/c car action) but he never said how...
I have an RS4 3, I was wondering what weight shock oil you guys think would be best, mostly for low traction, street and parking lot bashing. I have it completely apart at the moment for a thorough inspection and cleaning, so I figured I would do it now. I want to make it handle better on low...
