Are your batteries fully charged? When it cuts out, check the voltage with either your charger, LiPo checker, or multimeter. Also, the motor wires may be mixed around on the one with the faster reverse.

Could you please take a pic of it without the body? Also, who makes the RC so that I can try to find out more about it.

Which RC do you have, and what electronics? Brushed? Brushless? Post some pics if you aren't sure
