LiIon batteries are pretty similar to LiPo.

It will charge it to 4.2v per cell so 12.6v, 11.1v is just the nominal voltage which is 3.7v per cell. It will charge it fully. It will do the same with other batteries. Edit: I highly recommend that you watch tons of LiPo safety and charging videos as it’s super similar to LiIon batteries.

So, the charger charges it to the voltage you choose, then puts as much mAH as possible without overcharging it.
