    Why is my Traxxas Slash going slower faster?

    Yep, also check for binding in the drive train. Brushed motor wearing out, battery wearing out, dry/worn bearings/bushings, stuff wrapped around the axles behind the wheel hex's, etc. All those shorten run times and cut speed.
