    That makes sense since it's a racing kit. Then yeah, would be better to get the proper mount vs raising it with spacers or something. The mount conducts heat to the chassis, so the more contact area it has with the flanges, the better. Also would flex less.

    Probably not. If you want to run a 7.4V lipo with 6V servos, you need to get a regulator. Or just get servos that can run off 7.4v. Some run 6V servos on 7.4V, but why start out with something that could be a problem? Especially when your spending that kind of money. Savox has high voltage...
