Going to upgrade my T-Maxx steering servo and Servo horn

Do you leave the igniter on the plug after it starts? If not, try that and once it's idling, with the igniter still on, try gently blipping he throttle to pick up engine speed. To me, it just sounds flooded or a weak/old/bad plug or both. What plug do you have in it?

Probably loaded up with fuel. If you have it off the ground and quick blip the throttle, can you work the RPM's up that way? Do you have a proper glow heater you can use instead of the ez? Then you can leave it on a bit while the engine is running to help it keep running until you get it to...

    Pointing forward.

You didn't ask. Your wording made it sound like you were having a hard time getting it on or off, not in the right position. This is how the linkage should be lined up and you can see which way you should point the throttle arm on the carb:

Yeah, that's a 1.5mm grub screw if I remember right. Usually, once I remove it, I replace it with a good 2.5mm cap head screw as the threads are the same. Then I don't run the risk of stripping it, or if I do, I have a head that I can still grab on to with pliers.

Check out post #2 here: https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/threads/nitro-tuning-tips-and-tuning-flow-chart.60832/#post-537066 Shows you how to set it by eye to get a base setting, also how to fine tune with the engine running.

I always ran my MT's pretty straight in the rear. I guess if your racing... then a little tire scrub isn't bad, but with all the concrete running I do, I toe in the fronts just a hair, but try to keep the rears at zero toe.

did you check your ball ends to make sure they are on the bottom of the axle carriers? If they are, then just adjust them so you have 0 degrees of toe on the rear. You may have messed with your pivot balls too. Tightening or loosening those a turn or two will change the toe as well. Screwing the...

I'm not seeing much of a toe issue on the rear.

Did you take the rear turnbuckles off for any reason? If so, you may have put one or both on the wrong side of the axle carrier... been a while since I had a t-maxx and I've only ever had RPM carriers, but if you put the turnbuckle on the wrong side, it will cause bad toe as the shocks compress...

I kind of reviewed that one in comparison to a few others: https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/threads/no-name-waterproof-servo-ks-3620.113514/ My first post in that thread was an out of truck comparison. Later on at post 13, I had ran it in my revo and it was far too slow to use.

I'm partial to a servo that doesn't exist anymore for t/b and steering for that matter, hitec 985MG. They sell a similar one now that's digital, the HS-7985MG. Same specs as the old one, but I'm guessing it's holding power is better since it's digital, they have a much higher clock rate than...
