    any way to measure or figure out idle gap?

    Feeler gauge: https://www.amazon.com/Spurtar-Blades-Measurement-Measuring-Thickness/dp/B07B3TQQSV Will likely need to dremel them so they are narrower at the tip to fit down in a carb.
