Try not to force the servo to move, as it will damage the servo. It should only be controlled by the remote. Check that, when the air filter is off, that full throttle opens the carb all the way and none of the slide can be seen, and that on idle, there should be a 1-2mm gap, that doesn't change...
Yep, you're idle is way too high. On the carburettor, find the idle screw and adjust it until the idle has slowed down and the wheels have stopped spinning:
The idle screw is inset into the carburetor body.
Also, are you in Shropshire? place looks oddly familiar...

What other ones are you thinking of? Unfortunately there are a lot of vehicles that look cool and seem to offer the same performance of higher end ones but for half the price, although they are usually weak and have bad customer service as well as difficult to find spares...
They're both durable, but the HPI trophy 3.5 is more so- that's why it is heavier and a tad slower, but still very fast. Parts are relatively cheap and easy to access. When my trophy 3.5 went full throttle into a concrete kerb and flipped front ways only the front bumper and plastic rear toe...
In that case £200-300 pounds should do you nicely. A £700 buggy is designed to be raced by world champions, and, no offence, would be wasted on any of us on this forum (unless someone here's planning on racing against the world champions) For £249 you can either get:
-Ofna Hyper 7 TQ2...
I've just realised you said buggy, not engine...I need to read posts more carefully...
Anyway, what's your budget?
(I'm in the UK too so I can tell you some good retailers)
That Samoan boy of yours needs some discipling if he'd doing that so far, he must have control of your wax supply if he's manipulating you like that...
Thanks a lot :) - as Rolex said- we do it of our own free will, we just like to help other members into the hobby and help people who are struggling. Unfortunately, if it wasn't for us I don't think the hobby would be surviving in this day and age with technology seen as a much more interesting...
Good choice, I'd still recommend cleaning the carburetor and replacing or cleaning the lines before starting- they're almost certainly going to be gummed up :) Have you ordered any fuel?
I spent 3 minutes just thinking how to word it, I actually spent 4 decades doing research- It was a long and difficult task, but it had to be done- I used a quantum computer that was kept secret to find out every single piece of information on the subject, I know know the exact atomic mass of...
