Yesterday was a disaster. I thought I had blown my idler gear, because the car was running crunchy and the spur and pinion seemed OK. I'm running a slipper eliminator with a RC Speed Secrets shaved idler gear...

Oh I totally know what you mean - but I only pulled the ESC fan - I left the motor fan in.
Interesting - do drag cars not use motor fans? I mean, I suppose that makes sense - you don't want to waste a single drop of battery (or gram of weight) on spinning a fan against a motor that's only going...
