Regarding the USA-1 - it appears that the bearings in the transmission and clutch bell were assembled dry - Kyosho is taking care of people from what I hear, but you can save the hassle by lubing them. Personally I cannot vouch for the transmissions one way or another as I customized mine...
By the end of the day...some wheels facing the wrong way, lol. But, nothing major broken, just some brackets that I 3d printed and will reprint (this time in nylon instead of PLA).
Too hot to do much anything where I live for a couple of days, really want to test out my new B&H tires and oil filled diffs on my Mad Crushers, but just thought I'd pass on some info I heard last night from what I think is usually a pretty reliable source (PowerSource Nitro Mods) - and that is...
Oh, ok, I thought I saw bases on there or something. I hate losing spots to run on, but luckily there's a lot of good places around me. I still contemplate buying some unbuildable lot(we have quite a few just to the north of where I live) and making a track. Most of the lots are wooded and...
Burned a heck of a lot of fuel this weekend. I am working with a guy who is putting on an event on May 15th, that is a monster truck race in tournament style format. I have been helping him come up with a track design. Gonna post some details up in the next day or so. It will be taking place...
Yeah, I saw Wizard Of Oz, I know it's flat for sure in Kansas :D :D

Few pics from our little heat soaked event :D
Lined up good on approach, veered right on ramp when I centered the steering and punched it because of not having trim set!
Missed the turn completely because of that, lol
Way too much throttle on the ramp, spun out and launched nearly sideways...
It was 96 degrees out, but around 5:30 my stepdaughter and I went out and set up the mini MJ course and ran my Dragonoid Mad Crusher and my Pouncer T-Maxx. Had a blast! She was really getting the hang of it fast, pulling wheels all over the place with Pouncer. Flipped only once, but lost the...
I've been burning it every day after work lately, just breaking in tuning and testing for a bit before dinner. As soon as my MJ course pieces are finished I'm gonna get a little more serious and start practicing more, and working the fleet hard :D
