I just had that same issue ,an I though was the carb having air leaks ,it was the plug all that time ,I changed the plug an it cured the issue ,even though the plug still glwed , it didn't glow hot enough!..👍😎

It dies when you pull the igniter ,that tells me that it is a glow plug issue ,it is fouled! If it was a carb. issue ,it wouldn't run well with the igniter on!...😂
