Ok yea ,I will find the bid an take a pic of it ,if you have a Dremel ,you can use the bid to slot your holes a little ,if
needed ,but if its good ,then it might be best if you don't ,it will stay better ,then that way the engine wont move!
I always like to put a set screw on my engine mounts...
Make sure that you take it easy an monitor that gear mesh ,make sure there is no grinding or
weird loud wining from it ,pull it in an inspect each gear tooth for wear!
That is kinda of a lot of back pressure ,I said earlier in the thread that you should replace it ,
a lot of the engines performance is due to what tuned pipe you run!
Some people will channel out the mouth a little with a Dremel tool in an angle toward the screw holes ,
I had seen that done...
No ,I am not buying them ,funds are limited an I'm buying fuel next week!...LOL
I do want to design my own mounts that are fully adjustable though ,seeing that
there is none on market ,I do have a design worked off in my freakin brain!...
I was watching these for myself ,an they are rare!

You can mark the outer engine mount with marker ,an when you make your template ,you can lay template
down at your mark on the chassy.
Put a little oil on the bottom of your engine mount ,an press it down on the cardboard ,it should transfer ,
an then cut out ,lay cardboard back over on mount...
Its hard to locate hole to were you can mesh gears right ,I would try to find a different motor mount set
up that will allow some adjustments ,like the Ofma style that is channeled or slotted ,I would also ,get rid of that style
header pipe ,it may enterfere with the setting of the engine!
Here...
Lol...just don't create a monster that you can't handle!.......:naughty:
I have street cars with 2 spd's ,an know how mine go together ,but don't know
too much about the Kyosho brand ,they do look similar though!
Once you get it ,you should be able to figure it out ,then you can ask if you have...
The 2 needle carbs are a little tricky to tune ,but once tuned right ,it will have better
response!
I had bought used engines & rc's before ,an got very lucky with them ,thank God that the people
didn't tune them after break-in an gave up on the engine ,the engines were still at factory settings...
No problem!
The carb. on Kyosho though is probably the single needle carb. ,the Cen one is a 2 needle setting ,meaning
that there is a high speed & a low speed needle ,an you will have better tuning capabilities in the transition
from idling to quick full throttle!....:naughty:
It is a rotary ,just like the one in the car!
The rotary ones in my opinion ,are more easier to work with in certain applications on
mods on vintage cars & buggies!
It should fit!
It maybe possible to just unscrew one of the gears off the bell ,if one is about the
same size or ratio ,as the gears are only screwed onto the bell!
