    All in good fun... I believe all gold plated connectors are equal with respect to diminishing return on IR I have raced many years with Deans on 6S without issue, but I melted more Deans on 2S in 4WD SCT, go figure? We know the reason why as discussed with voltage vs amps on the KV motor...

    WELL.... technically I still use deans connectors for my tire warmer connections to my power supply so they still have practical purpose related to my RC stuff, ha! I have a 3S pack with Deans to power my warmers track side just before a race if I get into a race/marshal/race situation...

    well, that video was 4 years ago... I no longer run Deans and currently use EC5 connectors which makes it easy to use the same 5mm bullet charge harness for my shorty LiPo packs ;) Only reason I use EC5 on my 1/8 race rigs are because they are available from Zeee which is my go to battery...

I've been using a very old 50W adjustable iron that paid about $20 from Radio Shack roughly 8+ years ago, the TENMA chisel tip was about $6 and that tip is going on 4+ years old that I continue to use...
