The only thing i like from Traxxas is the clipless body design. I'm not talking their system, I just like the idea. I am seeing other manufacturers doing this now. Armma is using a simular locking system Touring cars are using magnets and Axial seems to be using Velcro 😆.

I just finished that project over the weekend. All my RC are using EC5 connectors. I even swapped out the ends on my two traxxas RC's

I have really just never been a fan of that Traxxas ecosystem. You can't use any of that stuff anywhere's else besides traxxas.

It's always funny what's dropped off at the hobby shop. The last time i was in someone dropped off a heavly modded car. I'm thinking if you mod a car like that why do you need to bring to a hobby shop to get fixed. I think i like wrenching on these things more then driving them

I disliked Traxxas years ago because they had crappy nitro designs and looked really had to wrench on. I was using HPI and Losi at the time. Then i had to give RC UP for a bit. The wife got me and my son a rustler and stampede for christmas. Fast forward 20 years they are really not that hard...
