    I'll try looking for one of these modern lithium packs with a bec then. This is my first experience with Nimh and I already hate them. I have lots of 18650 batteries lying around so maybe I can make a 2s pack with a bec.

    I am familiar with working with lipos not nimh. Nimh seem like archaic tech to me and seem kinda crappy. I'm used to getting feedback on how close to fully charged a battery is while it's charging and I'm used to predictable performance. I am coming from drones and I'm not sure why rc cars...

    5s Nimh hump pack. With no balance lead so no way to check IR of cells. It's brand new and came with the car.

    I don't get it, it seems to defy logic. I'm using a 1600mah 5s nimh pack to power the servos and RX in my nitro car. I charge the pack up to 6.9v-7v on my HOTA D6, and it reads 100% full on a capacity checker. I can then drive the car for about 1 hour before the servos start to become...
