    +1 Those stock Canyon Trail tires are actually very good. So much so, that I unglued them from the plastic wheels and mounted them onto metal wheels.

    Those SCX24s are a lot tougher than you would think! That short drop onto carpet, wouldn't so much as leave a scratch.

    No such thing as "too much" servo on a crawler. As others have suggested, don't waste your money on Traxxas servos. Here's a 2300kv Fusion system in my Redcat Gen8v2. Fantastic in it's intended design, which is crawl, but if you're looking for more zip, this probably won't cut it.
