With the battery fully charged, I finally got a chance to really try out the new "rescue" boar.
After zipping around my tiny pond, I tried to see how it would do as a rescue boat. I threw out a foot long piece of 2x4, and see how it goes. It took a bit of finesse and patient, but the boat worked...
The Force1 didn't really cut it as a rescue boat for my rc sailboat. However, it is a speedy, and fun mini power boat for my little pond. One of the issues is that it steers by rudder, so very tricky to maneuver at slow speed. Also, the vee hull makes for a poor ramming design.

Perhaps your friend is willing to teach you to fly by using a tethering system. Using 2 remotes, with one being the "master", that can take over control at any point in time.
