The Redcat Scout body fits my TRX4 Defender chassis perfectly. The orange body can be had for $30 right now...

@StonerRC365 my Traxxas Defender had the traditional body posts that sticks through the roof and hood. I did use ShooGoo and drywall tape around the body posts holes of the body.

My Axial SCX10 III Wrangler is 312mm, and it is a fantastic crawler! It's actually my best crawler, but it also has the shortest approach and exit angle.

I don't feel ShooGoo is necessary for a crawler. I've had my vehicle dropped a couple foot into rock faces and only sustain scrapes and scratches.

Lexan easily wins when it comes to weight to durability ratio.

Pretty thick lexan. Much beefier than the Traxxas Defender and Axial Wrangler bodies.

I got mine off Amazon, and I'm impressed with how durable they are. I've rolled Jalapeno dozens of time, and it has thus far remained intact.

I've just recently gotten back into rc after a 10 year break, and wonder how I possibly could have left. We all burn out at one point or another. I never truly quit a hobby, but rather just taken a long hiatus.

Warning: that could be a very, very deep rabbit hole!

If you have the funds, want excellent performance, and Tons of aftermarket upgrades, then it's the TRX4 sport.

Redcat has really up their game in the last couple of years. I believe they are striving to get out of the entry level status.
