Looking great man.
I got that PowerHobby servo installed in the C10. It is a direct replacement with no mods at all needed to fit. It has noticeably more torque, and is faster. I used one of the horns that came with it and did away with the saver...
Yeah. Metric
Actually, looking now at the dims of the Powerhobby one, it looks to be the same. I measured mine with it in the truck, so I could be off slightly.
@Greywolf74 asked me for the stock servo dimensions. These aren't exact, but should be within .010" or so. These dimensions are in metric. If you need them in SAE, let me know.
The Reffs Micro 99 is the goto it seems for these trucks, but they are pretty pricey, and require modification to get them installed. They are pretty big. I really wish someone would make a direct replacement for these trucks.
I currently have the frame rails and center link mount modeled up in...
Will do. The only thing besides fitment that I am worried about is this Powerhobby one is slightly less torque than the Emax one. But I am guessing it is still a lot stronger than stock. Maybe I can do a test to compare them. Any ideas? I don't want to burn this one up, but maybe I could build a...
If you were just buying jewelry for your RC's, that wouldn't be abnormal man. But steeling your wife's jewelry to give to your other love... that is just wicked! 😎🤠😜🤫
I think I am going to try to stay closer to stock diameter on the C10. Maybe a tad bigger. But I think I am going to try some black RC10 Wagons on it. I have a set of those in white at 1.55" and love them.
Are you planning on any upgrades for the wheels and tires? I had to cut about 3/8" out of the rear of the front fenders to get the Mudslingers to tuck in there at full compress and lock. I have some fender flares modeled up and going on the printer tomorrow.
