The Big Rock would be a great choice and are quite popular in the Arrma forum. I don't own one but I would if I were searching for something.
If you are also considering Lipo batteries, please read up on them. If not used properly they could be dangerous.

Welcome in @Stretch79 a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 kit would give you a good start. I have two of the 4x4 kits and a 2wd. The complete unassembled kit are a great learning tool and fun to build.
