    How it is now is basically no movement at all. I believe put 6-7 shims in between the bearing of the spur and the metal cone collar (stock plastic). Cars still going all this time later no issues at all

    5mm shaft shims did the trick, I stacked up about 6-7 of them and ran fine all day. Slipper worked nicely and there’s no play.

    After some internet reading I see plenty of other people have noticed this, basically, some shims between the spur gear bearing and the collar are the fix. That’s also a safe spot I would say. Reason being those will only spin when the clutch slips aside from the entire assembly, so they should...

    I took a video after I installed the new upgraded metal collar and bearing from Traxxas. Everything’s right and the car drives just fine. I took a video to show what I’m talking about. It has to be normal I can see nothing else that would be loose. Only had the truck a few weeks too.
