    If it was me I would just hold it out and save up for a decent esc.

    This^ neither of those escs are going to be any good. I would at least get a cheapo rtr Hobbywing esc like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/133246859206?hash=item1f0621b7c6:g:c38AAOSwf~Nd1iXf. Either motor will be fine.
