Idk why I didn't think of this before, but you should have just cut out the middle man and went straight to Hobbywing and asked them what the LVC settings are supposed to cut out at on the Max6. The guy that made the lipo testing thread on Rc Groups had the same experience with Max Amps...

I think the only company that doesn't put fake c rates on their lipo batteries is Traxxas.
