It's not that confusing bud. Just got to many people throwing poop at you..and one saying something and another saying no do it another way.. All you need is a 2 channel radio and reciver . the nitros have 3 channels because some of them need the 3rd for reverse. Electric only needs 2 channels...

How the hell does that contradict what I said?? Never said to get a sensored motor. Just said the esc's are cheaper on HW. Because I'm sure you dont run sensored motors correct?? As long as the TX was binder to that rx. I would bind it again to be sure... esc goes to channel 2 servo to channel 1 and the fan can go to channel 3... Youn an program with the controller just takes longer with out the card thats all. And a head up the wires for the jst plugs only get crimped...

Don't you have other RC's. Just use one of those RX to test it.. don't even have to take out of the car. Just plug wires into the other RX.. find out if it works. You have one that you can't use rite if I remember correctly. I would have done that the first day I got the RC

Doesn't have to plug into rx to see if it beeps when powered up. If it beeps then more then likely it ok Might have fried the rx. That rx is fried like deep fried chicken man. There is NO saving that rx👍🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The most expensive part you will buy is the cheap one that you buy... you get what...

You got nothing to lose like wolf said. I agree fix the wires on esc. And give it a go. Did you check the esc you plug battery in and it beeps you said rite. ? The rx could be the only thing fried..🤔🤔

You can look at reciver and car..It's a two channel.. the esc and servo thats it... I would be buying new electronics to be safe..
