I won't lie it a nice and easy set up but for the price of it that's crazy. basically thats what ur paying for the new connector which only can be charged in their traxxas charger unless u get adaptors Beside the development and all the time and energy into the design.

Yes it would be a hell of a lot easier if they did. I wouldn't be going crazy looking for batteries lol

And that would be very unlikely. What's ur opinion about adapters? It's probably not good to have that many electrical joints.to much resistance.not a even flow of power.

I know I just started getting into to the whole electric side of hobby. But I know I don't like the whole idea of being tied to one kind of batteries or charger that only can do one maybe two at a time.

So what's the whole backwards compatible? Black to red ? Yeah don't think anybody likes the new id connector. Maybe for kids it's good so they don't burn the house down but for more experienced Hobbiest.that already have charge/batteries and what not it's horrible

Yeah both awesome rigs. Only problem with the xmaxx is those dam connectors they run.

Oh I love the smell and sound of nitro in the morning. Nothing like it. But the convenince of electric is what I'm starting to like .i got the 1/16 revo for my daughter and I love the little guy.but go big or go home.So now I want the the Xmaxx as soon as I can find one.

Thanks for info man. The new lipos and brushless power is definitely new to me. Alot different then running nitro and turning a carb. I really want the Xmaxx 8s so that's how and why I'm getting into electric
