    I've never owned one of those so I couldn't help you. I thought the trims, reverse, and dual rates were all switches and dials. Are you sure you haven't changed the settings on the ESC?

    You just need to figure out how to set the failsafe of the receiver. It should be in the manual. Or just turn the car off before the transmitter.

    That's a DumboRC transmitter. And I think the ESC is a hobbywing SC8. It seems like you just need to swap the plugs on the receiver.
