    Soak it PB Blaster or WD40 overnight then try it. If you disassemble it down to just metal parts, put some heat to it.

    It's ball/hex on the end of the starter shaft. Not usually a tight fit. Was the motor seized and someone tried to spin the starter? I have actually worn out one of the starter shafts due to how loose they fit and I use a drill to start mine. If you want copies of the original manuals/parts...
