I'll likely get the aluminum stuff but I'm kinda thrifty in that respect. I'll run the factory stuff till it breaks. With the new ramp I'm building, it shouldn't be long 😂

The traxxas upgraded metal gear servo. I was skeptical but so far it works great, even with the heavier 17mm hex sixpacks. The linkage is all still factory. Can't believe it's survived this long 😂

That being said, even with the undersized servo, my Xmaxx turns way better than my Outcast. Granted I'm still working the bugs out of the outcast, but the steering and front end in general seems really sloppy compared to the X.

I just recently installed new steering servos in both the Outcast and Xmaxx and I agree, Arrma did a way better job with the mounting adapters.
