    It's most likely and AC motor. I don't do a lot of AC (analog) work but in the end it's all about current and phase, so maybe with the right ESC? If it's an AC motor, you could always run an inverter from a battery. But you might need some other bits to go with it.

    I'd start with a Maytag then. The chassis is stout.
