Well then I’d have to say Tekno, like an sct410.3 since the 2.0 has arrived and you can probably start finding them on eBay for fair prices. Or perhap an eb48.3/2.0, or whatever looks like a good deal. If it’s just a roller or looks dirty just go through the thing and clean it, grease or replace...

I will just have to point out that anything cheap upfront will end up costing in the long run. Losi, axial, traxxas, they all seem cheap to me. My LCracing lc12b1 has been great but wasn’t cheap. My Tekno eb48 has been great but wasn’t cheap. My scx24 was cheap but I have sank a fortune into it...
