    Not familiar with the Magnum Trans. I will say though that when you go to replace the shock towers (if you go with aluminum) to make sure they are made either out of 6061 T6 or 7075 aluminum. Regular 6061 is fairly soft and can bend and even shear off fairly easily compared to harder aluminum.

    I gotta agree with WF on this one. If your using the stock Traxxas shock shafts, those things will bend if you just sneeze in their general direction. All my Traxxas kits get immediate shock or at least shock shaft upgrades right out the gate these days. I've had good luck with the TiNi shafts...

    I mean there is some flex there. Thats kinda RPMs thing. It flexes instead of breaking. The rear tower doesn't have a ton of flex but the front one has plenty.

    Yeah, I feel like an idiot now. lol. I forgot all about those. The Pede is a shelf queen that I bought as a roller and it already had RPM shock towers on it. Both of my Rustlers have them too but I totally forgot because both of those builds were done more than 8 to 10 years ago. I never had any...

    Never used RPM shock towers. If I break a stock shock tower on anything it usually gets replaced with aluminum.
