All of the products I used as examples were taken from Gallimod's website. I get what you're saying. you're trying to give people with more money than time an option to get around to playing with their new toys faster. I totally understand that. My point was you are in the vast minority of people...

WickedFog didnt say $440 he said $400. Not sure where you got $440 from? So why can't you combined method 1 and 2 here? *Buy Truck 1st: $999.99 *Earn a 10% cash back in points towards your next purchase - wait a day or two for the points to register: $99.99 *Then buy a Ultra Power UP300AC Touch...

i didnt think about running adapters, that is an option. I run EC5 to Deans adapters in my K8 without issue. Is it the Traxxas connector part of the adapter thats popping off?

Unless you want to change the connectors on the Xmaxx's ESC then yes, pick the Traxxas connector. At least I'm assuming the Xmaxx ESC has a Traxxas connector. I dont own an Xmaxx.

From what I was able to find online the dimensions on the Xmaxx battery tray are 197mm x 51.5mm x 44mm so that particular pack should just fit. The Kraton 8S is a beast but two upgrades you'll have to do eventually if you plan on airing it out are a thicker after market chassis plate and GPM 3...

That must be a mobile thing. On a PC they have a shipping and tax calculator as one of the first steps in the check out process and before making payment a full summary of what you are buying and paying is there. Also their contact info is kinda hidden on their website but it is there.

For LiPos, Id look at SMC first if they fit your budget. If not then you could drop down to Hoovo or Zeee brand. As for as starting tools you're going to need at least a basic 4 or 6 piece metric hex driver set. Id probably lean toward the 6 piece set as you'll likely need some bigger wrenchs for...

Unless your a seasoned hobbyist I dont recommend buying used. As Stoner said half the time you end up inheriting someone elses interimmentant issue they can't figure out how to fix. Plus you have no idea what condition the bearings and internal gears are in etc. The main thing though is just...

Whats got you conflicted in terms of picking a charger? Just curious. GenAce is overpriced imo. Not that they are bad but you can get some 4S Hoovo lipos off of amazon for cheaper and they will perform about as good from what I've seen. I love my K8, Its gotta be top 3 favorite trucks of all...

The general rule of thumb in RC is to locktite every screw that goes into metal with blue loctite. I used red once on a chassis brace from my LST2 and I broke 2 allen wrenches trying to get it undone when the brace broke and I had to replace it. I do not suggest using red. Orange maybe but not red.

not sure what the 8 and the 32 are supposed to represent. I'm guessing whatever pinion you were looking at had a gear pitch of mod.8 and the spur was 32P which are not the correct gear pitch for the Xmaxx. Your gear pitch should be "mod 1" and the stock gearing for the xmaxx is a 15T pinion/54T spur

Some chargers will come with various charging leads some of them only come with one, two, maybe 3 different leads and some just come with bare wires where they allow you to use whatever connector you want. The most important thing is to get a good quality charger. One that can read the IR of the...

Just to throw this out there. This is what a DBXLE owner told me about his kit. I believe he meant to say you can't do really crazy jumps with it. :)

The Kraton is built like a truggy and because of that it handles a lot better than a MT (and I'm assuming the Xmaxx cuz its a MT but I've never owned one) but from what I hear the Xmaxx is pretty tough out of the box. I can tell you that you will want to replace the K8 chassis with an after market...

Sorry the electric version is the DBXLE the DBXL is the gas version. My mistake. I've never owned an Outcast but Aarma states that the Outcast is a "Stunt Truck" and the Kraton is a monster truck. The Outcast has a shorter wheelbase which makes it better for doing wheelies and standing backflips...

My personal opinion, yes Losi is better quality than Arrma or Traxxas. That being said all three are good brands Losi is just more of a racing brand so they tend to be better quality. If you're not racing them and you're not a Losi fan boy an Arrma or a Traxxas will be equally as good. Both with...

The main 1/5 Scales that I'm aware of are the Redcat that you mentioned (I personally do not think Redcat is a very good brand either). The Losi ones which they have 2. The Losi 5ive is the gas one and the DBXL-E 2.0 4WD Desert Buggy is their electric one. Then Theres the Xmaxx and the Kraton 8S...
