I got one of those on steroids :)

Its now been 5.5 weeks and that LED is still lit.

Tomorrow will be 4 weeks that this LED has been burning off of 1.9V. Its getting faint but its definitely still lit lol

Check this out... So As mentioned earlier in this thread I use my little fan/5mm LED combo to discharge lipos down to about 1.9V which is safe enough to dispose of already but I thought Id see if I could discharge one completely down to zero or at least see how close I could get. About 3 weeks...

We are talking about how we discharge our lipos down to 0V to make them safe for disposal.

Agreed. Besides I've never seen a charger that will discharge a lipo below about 3V/C anyway. Pretty sure none of them do.

I thought about doing something like this beofre but I wasn't sure with the bulb being 12v how far it would discharge until the bulb stopped working.

For years I discharged my lipos by cutting off the connectors and soaking them in salt water for days if not a week or more waiting for them to fully discharge. Maybe yall have found a better way to do it like I have so I figured Id share my way and let yall share yours and see where we land...
