I use cheap chalk pastels, they work great on matte finishes. :thumbs-up:

I plan on giving them a little grunge and rust, but I'm having a hard time making myself do it, they are really nice wheels. 🤣 Making it look grungy isn't as hard as getting a perfect paintjob. 🤣

Thank you. I learned some stuff on this, it's not quite the overall effect I was going for and I know what to do different next time, but for a first try with the salt method I am happy with it. :thumbs-up:

Got body color number two on today, still needs some weathering and detail work. I colored the door handles with a silver Sharpie. :) It was nice to have an extra day this weekend, I feel like it's been forever since I got some hobby time in.

More progress, applied salt and first color of paint. Still need to get the bottom salted, painted and some detailing done. Hoping to get that done tomorrow.
