    LiPo Shrink Film and 14 to 12 gauge Dean T-Plug to EC5 Connector Questions

    1 I'm assuming its added protection. I would leave the film on. 2 I'm no wire expert. If it was me, Id solder the connector myself. If you csnt solder, I would have a hobby shop solder a new plug. Looks better, the power should flow better, and imo less likely of a mishap.
