My first tour to Osan was '83-'84 (HTACC), 2nd tour was '85-86 (Hill 170), 3rd (last) tour to Osan was '91-92 (KCOIC). Comm Sq the first time, Skivvy Nine (6903 ESG) for the last two.

I was in that branch with the good chow, and 5-star barracks, so.... what's a 91B/63B? Drove past Ft Hood earlier this year (on our way to Fredericksburg) but I think they've renamed it to Ft Cavazos?

Nope, they did have a KFC, complete with a fiber-glass statue of the Colonel, who was often moved to other locales by the inebriated. The only burger place was a cart with McDonalds logos. Popeyes was on base, but Cherry Boy chicken (bar-b-que), downtown near Skinny Mom's club was better.

Chun Il, sure. My last assignment there I lived in the Osan hotel which was right outside the main gate of Osan AB.... but that was so long ago, and it's long gone with all the changes made in Song-Tan
