Note to self: When you think you can do better, stop, because you still suck.
I was so confident that I could make a better run, so I tried. Second run I did worse, third only did slightly worse. Still at 62 laps.
Made my first run. Seemed to be alot better in practice, didn't help that I clocked an AI crossing the start line on the first lap, then on the second pit I got nailed about three times by AI cars before I hit the back stretch. Felt like a good run overall though.
Never thought that info would be so useful. Today I was switching some USB stuff around, and my keyboard lights (VRC adapter is plugged into the keyboard) started flickering, and I was getting error messages about the device. Pulled it apart, and sure as can be, the tabs were off. All fixed now...
Ran my first oval, started off great, but after about halfway, it felt like my steering trim changed, and it kept pulling to the right. So for the second half of the race, I was fighting to keep the car straight. No luck for me.
DNF on both of my first races. Oval, I couldn't have run worse if I tried, I was on par for about a 90 lap finish. For the other, well, I'm dropping that series, it's just not my thing. I thought I'd like it, but I suck all over on that, and I spend more time in the grass than on the track.
Which OS, I have Win7 and I was having issues getting it to recognize my iPhone. Do other USB devices work in the same jack? If so, then I can tell you how to work around it, but not until tomorrow after work.
Well, that killed it for me, race two and three on oval are DNF since I can't get enough time to run a distraction free race when my family is around. Would be nice if it took best of three, rather than last race, but oh well.
