I was thinking the same thing 😉 Track is looking good.

    That should do the trick.

Having that building on the track would be awesome. As far as laying it out, I would start laying out the inside corners with the pipe and use the boards on the outer boundries and straights. You're going to need a lot of stakes to pin it all down.

Wow. That's a lot of water.

Mount you a 5hp Briggs on the tiller 😉

If I were able to handle a car ride, I'd be sll over that. My condition keeps me within 20 minutes of my recliner lol. We have that track here in town that I can't even make it to. By the time I got that far, my back would be beggin to go home. That's awesome on having friends willing to chip...

    Backyard Track design help?

I had my apartment robbed while at work about 5 years ago. Lost about $10k worth of stuff. It makes ya sick. I was ready to kill somebody that day for sure. I now have csmeras, even though I never leave.

Nice. Just mark out the track with spray paint, then invite the neighbors over for lawnmower races. The track will be done in a day 😉😁😆

    Backyard Track design help?

All of those weed and grass killers are pretty bad. Plus you living right next to a stream wouldn't be a good place to spray that stuff in that kinda volume.

Yeah, most tillers have an adjustable depth. The walk behind ones use a bar that digs the tines in by creating drag. The deeper you set the bar, the more drag, the more depth. Ones that mount to a tractor will have an adjustable depth. But speaking from experience, man that sounds like a lot of...

The rental places should have a sod machine. They are pretty common in the shops here. We rented them a few times. But I like Baker's thinking. A Bobcat or loaded would be a lot faster. And you could build the jumps while you're at it.

Man, the things I could make on an NC mill. Very nice. Do you have a rotary table and sine plate? On the tilling the grass under... You'd be better off renting a sod machine and peeling the sod layer off. Otherwise, you'll just be tilling the grass and weeds in, which will just come right back...

Damn, that is a nice spot for a track. Will be less grass to mow too. Hell, with mower gas prices where they are now, the track will pay for itself in a year! 🤣 Hell with renting it. Put a ladder to the roof, build a driver platform up there, and turn the trailer into a hobby shop/parts store 😉

Cool. That will be a nice spot for a track. Lets just add jumps over the creek 😉😆😁 Where on your diagram is the new property? Can ya get me a new diagram?

In the 10th scale world, that's 100' bro 😉 Nice score! If you want me to play with a new design, give me the new layout. Add as much detail as you want. I can toss any obstacles into the drawing.

Can you post pics of the space?

    Backyard Track design help?

I wish I was able bodied, I'd drive down and help you build it. If you need dimensions, I can post a pic with them turned on. And for the clay, isn't there a lot of clay in the ground down there? We got lost one time on some back roads in Kentucky, and we ended up driving up the side of this...

That's kinda the way they have the local tracks setup here, with the drainage tubing. They can change the track layout pretty easily, but they still have to move the jumps.

How does this look? You could add jumps wherever you wanted. Like where the track crosses over the oval, that could be a jump. This is roughly 4' wide lanes.
