Thanks to the first family of rc, Jennys Rc, my Typhon 6s is about to go lwb. Included in the makeover are the following EXB parts:
Chassis
Chassis braces
Suspension mounts
Hinge pins
Those two little red spacers at the back of the rear brace?‍♂️

Servo Mount
Rear dogbone already in hand

I like that ArrmaForum decal on the wing. Really makes that Typhon look amazing. ;) :D

An so today begins the climb to higher top speeds. Installed an Infraction 46t spur on a new Hot Racing aluminum cup and filled with 500k dif fluid. Then I changed from a 16t to a 25t pinion.

No custom build is complete without a proper custom painted body. I called upon a local guy here that goes by the name of Torontoleisurerc on Instagram. I had ideas but left it mostly up to him to give me an incredibly cool custom job.

And to date, my highest top speed is 102 mph. Verified on Skyrc GNSS speed analyzer.
That basher front bumper creates lift. How's that working out/\?
I flattened it out so it's almost flat to the ground. First one got wrecked in a crash but I have spares.

Well, looks like I haven't updated in a while. Gearing and dif changes, the addition of a Castle MMX 8s esc, a Ripple Killer cap pack and a TP 4070 2250kv motor have afforded me a new personal best top speed of 124 mph. On that note, only the driver is holding it back from much higher top speeds.

Another update over the weekend. Added a Practical Prototype Solutions motor and center dif mount. Beautifully built and makes meshing the pinion and spur so easy and precise.

Well, after having the 5mm driveshaft explode on the TP motor, I had to order a new rotor, this time with an 8mm shaft. I also upgraded to some Sweep Racing 105mm foams tires and added a new wing that's been shaved down in areas to reduce drag. Now sitting with a 29t pinion and 35t spur, hoping to finally break into the 130 mph club.
