i never knew it could be such a pain to mount a fail safe on an hpi firestorm in a good location to protect it at best as possible from dirt water and vibration where it would still be visible. But after hours of tinkering and thought i finally was able to condure up a way to mount it and cram the huge hunk of wires back inside the tiny receiver box.
What i did:
What i did:
- Notch out a slot on ether side of the receiver box top
- Attached the F.s on top of the box's top with double sided foam tape
- Then i used hot glue to seal up the notch that i cut
- Used black auto touch up paint to paint over the clear glue
- notched out the sides of the receiver box itself so the wires would clear in the corners when it was re assembled
- shoved everything back inside the box as best as i could
- done!
