are mud guards worth it on a buggy?
 
i plan on running it.. i built this thing from scratch.. took a year and a half.. custom made body and everything..

yes.. the mud flaps.. what makes them so good?

They keep mud and gunk off the suspension arms and steering components. Maybe even the little pebbles that like to screw things up...
 
I've only seen them on the rear arms. They keep the mud/dirt/rocks from the front tires getting kicked up and into your rear shock shafts, so they last a while longer.
